16th August 2018 : OPPO F9 Official Launch in Malaysia
Oppo F9 is a fantastic phone with reduced bezels and tiny notch. The device was launched after several leaks and rumours. The smartphone has a unique kind of selfie-notch with an incredible 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.
It’s powered by the Helio P60 from MediaTek which features AI and an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The dual rear cameras come with AI Beautification 2.1. Let’s find out more.
The F9 sports an aluminium alloy overall unibody that reflects light beautifully. It looks exactly like most smartphones from the F series. At the top left corner, we can see the dual rear camera and LED flash.
The fingerprint scanner takes centre stage and unlocks the device in just 0.1 seconds. Furthermore, it measures 8mm in thickness when you turn over to the sides and weighs 169g. It will be available in Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple.
The front is built around a 6.3-inch FHD+ LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. This boasts of 1080 x 2340 pixels in resolution and 409 pixels per inch density for clear and sharp visuals. It stretches up to 90.8% screen to body ratio.
The device is equipped with dual 16MP (f/1.7 aperture + 2MP (depth sensor) rear camera with scene and phase detection. While the 25MP Selfie shooter has its own notch and AI beautification.
The F9 supports 4G LTE connectivity and accommodates dual Nano SIMs. It has support for Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB TypeC, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot and A-GPS, GLONASS.
The Oppo F9 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3500mAh battery with VOOC fast charging technology.
